I’m a marketing and communications consultant, fiction writer, and professor based in Austin, TX.

A long-time pop culture nerd, I’ve worked in the film industry for many years at an art house theater and as a consultant, doing writing, PR, events, programming, strategic planning, fundraising and account/project management.

You’ll find my fiction in Akashic, Beneath Strange Stars, Trembling with Fear, Furious Gravity and other publications. My work spans multiple genres — including fantasy, horror and thriller — but it usually incorporates a strong woman, dark humor, and a dead body or two. I also hold an MFA in popular fiction from the Stonecoast Creative Writing Program in Maine. (And an MA in literature/film. Yeah, I like school.)

I’ve also presented at film conferences in the U.S. and Canada and taught writing classes at multiple colleges.
